Native –  New Opening Osea Island, Essex –  FRONT OF HOUSE - STAFF ALL LEVELS

 

A FRONT OF HOUSE POSITION LIKE NO OTHER!

 

Native are set to establish a new fine dining restaurant on the magical Osea Island off of the coast of Essex. Located 1 hour from London It will provide customers an immersive dining experience dedicated to seasonal, British, Game, rare breed and foraged produced whilst ensuring our customers receive a unique culinary adventure around Osea.

 

With you key duties being:

  • Preparing the dining room for service

  • Serving food and drink to the guests during service

  • Meeting and greeting guests on arrival to the Island 

  • Championing the amazing produce of Osea island and our suppliers

  • Preparation of our seasonal cocktails, teas and kombucha 

  • Help to pair wines with the seasonal tasting menu

  • Daily foraging and gathering tasks on the island

 

Staff will:

Experience is preferred  not essential, candidates with a proven passion for food, transferable skills and an over eagerness to learn about food please do apply!

 

Great emphasis will be placed on the training and development of our staff along with the restaurant allowing staff to progress and be involved in the growth of the establishment whilst gaining qualifications such as the WSET.

 

A keen interest and knowledge of British Food is desirable and you must be interested in learning about Native and its style of food and be eager to impart this knowledge to our customers.

 

We are actively seeking to employ an individual that can be effectively promoted into a restaurant management position as we see fit.

 

Fluent english, both written and spoken is essential.

 

In this demanding but both enjoyable and personally satisfying role staff will receive:

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A TIDAL ISLAND AND SO YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO LEAVE DURING CERTAIN HOURS OF THE DAY. STAFF FOOD AT ACCOMMODATION IS PROVIDED, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT EMPLOYEES STAY ON THE ISLAND DURING THE WORKING WEEK.
