Bringing a flavour of the Sussex grape harvest to all you curious wine lovers.

Each year, Rathfinny welcomes more than 200 British pickers, predominantly from the local Sussex community, to hand-pick each grape. This is an essential element to maintaining quality as they are a single-site, grower-producer crafting Traditional Method vintage wines with Sussex PDO status.

2024 marks 10 years since the first harvest at Rathfinny. To celebrate, they are co-hosting a series of wine dinners around the country during the harvest season between September and October and we're honoured to be included in the celebrations.

About Rathfinny

A family-owned Wine Estate with B Corp status, established in 2010 by Mark and Sarah Driver, dedicated to producing some of the world’s finest sparkling wines from a perfect site in Sussex, England.

Located on a wonderful south-facing slope in England’s South Downs, the climate, chalk soil and aspect make it the perfect site for producing Sussex Sparkling wine.

Rathfinny produces Traditional Method, vintage sparkling wines that are a true expression of the Sussex terroir. They are produced from hand-harvested grapes, that are whole-bunch pressed and patiently matured on lees and in bottle to develop rich, autolytic notes.
